UNITED WAY CONTRIBUTIONS
If you wish to designate that some or all of your United Way contribution should go to Haven House, our Agency Code is 1506.
ON-LINE CONTRIBUTIONS BY CREDIT CARD
Your payment will be handled by PayPal through a secure server, so the transaction is safe. You do not have to have a PayPal account to make a contribution (although you may use your PayPal account if you prefer). If you wish to make a contribution online, click the "Donate" link below. That will take you to a secure site (PayPal) where you will provide your credit card and contact information. At the end of the transaction you will be shown a "receipt" that you may print, and a link to our home page. You will also receive a receipt from us, by mail, that will serve for your tax records.

Haven House Adopt A Shelter Needs List
Donating items on this needs list is an important way to help meet the needs of the shelter and the families who stay here. Residents use these items both during their stay and upon leaving the shelter. Many of these items are essential in helping our residents get established in their new homes. Your donations will help families all through the year - in January, June, and September. When you donate items on this list you also help defray operating costs of the shelter.
Family Needs
- Alarm clocks - electric
- Cooking pots and pans
- Can openers
- Blankets, twin size
- Sheets, twin size
- Bath towels, wash clothes
- Socks (adult sizes)
Personal Supplies
- Hand lotion
- Baby wipes & diaper ointment
- Disposable diapers sizes 2, 4, or 6

- Shampoos & conditioners
- Adult's cough & cold medicine
- Motrin or Tylenol (or generics)

- Chap stick
- Oragel (for tooth aches)
Cleaning Supplies
- Dish detergent
- General cleaners - (e.g. Spic & Span)

General Shelter Needs
- Paper towels
- 13-gallon tall kitchen bags
- 33-gallon and 39-gallon trash bags

- Manila file folders - Letter size 1/3 cut

- Gift Certificates to Meijers, Payless Shoes and area gas stations for resident needs

If you do have items that we need and wish to drop them off, we would appreciate it if you drop them off on:
Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Please come to the front door of the building (facing Whitehills Drive). There is parking behind Haven House. Go through the Post Office parking lot and on into the lot behind Haven House. Parking spots for Haven House are marked as such.
Map and Directions
Because of our very limited space, there are some items that we are not able to take. These include:

- furniture
- car seats
- adult clothing
- computer equipment (unless you have specifically checked with a staff member in advance to verify that it is something that we can use)
