Information for submitting materials for Volume 2. 

We are publishing an expanded, 2nd Volume of our cookbook.  While we have not settled on the exact time-line or format, we anticipate that in addition to having recipes, stories about tailgaters, and photos, we will add some additional content.  If you wish to submit a recipe, story, or photo to be considered for that edition, instructions for doing so electronically can be seen below.  The process is easy, but if you would rather submit your materials in a less high tech way, please contact us using the contact information at the bottom of the page.

recipes and stories- 

To submit a recipe click on this link, which will take you to a form to fill out on-line.  The recipe will be saved when you click on the submit link at the end of the form.  The form will ask you for the following information:

• your name
• the name(s) of the person (people) to whom to attribute the recipe
• your e-mail address (so that we may contact you with questions or to tell you more about our plans for Volume 2 as they become more detailed)
• the name of your recipe
• recipe category (appetizer, drink, soup, salad, main dish or dessert)
• a list of the ingredients for the recipe, in the order that they are used in preparing the recipe
• instructions for preparing (and serving) the recipe
• the number of people that your recipe will serve

If you wish to submit multiple recipes, you will have to submit multiple copies of the form.  We will try to include as many people as possible in the book, and thus will not necessarily be able to include all of the recipes that you submit.  We may use multiple recipes from a single person, and by submitting multiple recipes it will make it more likely that we can include at least one of your submissions when we receive duplicate submissions from different people.

pictures-

We are not able to upload pictures directly from our website so it will be necessary for you to submit them as e-mail attachments.  They should be sent to cookbook@HavenHouseEL.org.  In your e-mail be sure to include your name and the name of the recipe that you have submitted that the photo should accompany.  You may submit multiple photos if you wish.  We prefer pictures to be in jpeg format (the standard digital cameral format).  By submitting your photos you are giving us permission to publish them in the cookbook as well as in any advertising of the cookbook that might be illustrated by samples of the contents.  Typically we will try to use one picture with your recipe, and we may use additional photos at other places in the book where they are particularly appropriate (such as on the divider pages, etc.)
